4 Our Services
SafeRemit provides the following services:
- Crypto Conversion: Depositing supported cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC) to your SafeRemit wallet for conversion to Nigerian Naira (NGN).
- Gift Card Trading: Submitting supported gift cards (Amazon, iTunes, Steam, Google Play, and others) for valuation and conversion to NGN.
- NGN Wallet: A Naira wallet balance credited upon successful transaction verification.
- Bank Withdrawals: Transferring your NGN balance to a linked Nigerian bank account.
SafeRemit acts as a principal in all transactions — we purchase assets from you directly. We are not a peer-to-peer marketplace. All rates are set at our sole discretion and may change at any time without notice.
5 Rates and Fees
- Rates displayed in the app are the rates at which we will purchase your assets. Rates include our transaction margin and are not negotiable.
- Rates are locked only after a transaction is confirmed by our team — not at the time of deposit.
- SafeRemit does not charge additional withdrawal fees; however, your bank may apply its own charges.
- We are not responsible for blockchain network fees ("gas fees") incurred during cryptocurrency transfers to our wallets.
- All NGN amounts are approximate until manually confirmed by our team.
6 Prohibited Activities

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension, asset freezing, and referral to law enforcement authorities.
7 Transaction Processing
- All transactions are manually reviewed by SafeRemit staff before crediting your wallet or processing a withdrawal.
- We reserve the right to reject, delay, or reverse any transaction that appears suspicious, violates these Terms, or cannot be verified.
- Once a cryptocurrency has been sent to your SafeRemit deposit address, it cannot be recalled. Ensure you send only the correct asset to the correct address.
- Gift cards submitted that are found to be invalid, partially used, or suspected of being fraudulent will be rejected with no compensation.
- Withdrawal processing times are indicative only and may take longer during weekends, public holidays, or periods of high volume.
- Minimum and maximum transaction limits apply and may be updated at our discretion.

- We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to maintain account security.
- Our total liability in any dispute shall not exceed the NGN value of the specific transaction in question.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

SafeRemit reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if:
- You violate any provision of these Terms
- We are required to do so by law or regulatory order
